Overview

Dr. Adrian (Wai-Kong) Cheung is an Associate Professor and Head in the Department of Finance and Banking. He joined the Department in Nov 2011 from Griffith University. He received his PhD in finance from Hong Kong Universityof Science and Technology (HKUST). He was also a visiting scholar in HKUST and Peking University, respectively. His research interests are mainly empirical finance, including corporate finance, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.His publications have appeared in Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Journal of Business Research, Economic Modelling, Applied Economics,and Journal of Asian Economics.
