Keny (One)
ICCF Keny will help you develop curiosity, respect and awareness by understanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ways of working, learning about the language and culture of the Noongar people (the Traditional Owners of the south-west area of Australia), and understanding the boodjar (land) you work on and its context. Koodjal (Two)
To attend any Koodjal experiences, you must complete at least one Keny experience as a prerequisite. However, you are invited to attend all Keny experiences as they each have different learnings. Koodjal experiences will help you develop responsiveness, knowledge of reflexivity and a sense of integration by understanding the early history between West Australian Aboriginal people and colonisers, the history and impacts of the Stolen Generation; and the importance and legacy of significant historical Nyungar leaders and events. Successful completion of one of these programs meets the Koodjal requirements.
More options will be available for Kalgoorlie staff.
