Showcasing staff stories, achievements, successes and more!
1st Australian Materials Chemistry Conference success
The first Australian Materials Chemistry Conference (AMCC23) was recently held in Fremantle, hosting 190 attendees over two-days.
Organised in partnership with The Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI), the conference offered the materials chemistry community a highly visible platform to showcase their latest and new research, bringing together industry experts to create a forum for fundamental and applied science.
Congratulations to Conference Chair, Associate Professor Guohua Jia from the School of Molecular and Life Sciences on the successful event and to all Curtin staff involved in a great event!
Special thanks to Pro Vice-Chancellor Science and Engineering, Professor Mark Ogden and Head of the WA School of Mines: Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering, Professor Mark Buntine for their opening remarks at the ceremony and to Associate Professor Raffaella Demichelis and Professor Cynthia Joll from the School of Molecular Life Sciences for each chairing a talk.
Thank you to all Curtin staff involved in this inaugural conference.
