2023 Curtin Razor showcase success
The School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry (MCASI) recently hosted another successful Curtin Razor film screening event which showcases the major projects of our final year screen art students. The event, held in the Rixon Theatre at Penrhos College, was a great opportunity for our students to have their work shown to industry professionals, special guests, family and friends.
The following winners of the Curtin Screen Arts Awards were also announced:
- Best Screenplay: Oliver Charlton for Cove
- Best Cinematography: James Hoare for Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
- Best Production Design: Sam Kruse & Nicholas Farrington for The Hideous Repetitions of William Pearce
- Best Sound: Emmet Doudle for Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
- Best Editing: Mack Stewart for Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
- Best Direction: Chris Paik-Swan for Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
- Best Producer: Darrel Suralin for Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
- Special Commendation: Tallulah Armenti for her work on Cove
- Best Film: Don’t Talk About The Monster on the Roof
