Congratulations to the Global Curtin team on the successful launch of the second annual Curtin Spark Innovation and Pitch Competition in Bangkok, Thailand, last week.

This initiative is part of the Curtin AusSmart Australia Scholarship (CAAS) partnership, which connects Curtin with leading Thai high schools to foster innovation and entrepreneurship among Thailand’s future leaders.

As part of the launch, Global Curtin and the Faculty of Business and Law hosted an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Masterclass, drawing more than 400 Thai high school students and teachers in person and online.

In January 2025, more than 150 students from 15 schools will compete in the 2025 Curtin Spark Innovation and Pitch Competition at Thai Airways’ headquarters in Bangkok. The winning team will earn a trip to Curtin’s Bentley campus to experience our innovation teaching facilities.

Thank you to everyone involved in bringing this exciting initiative to life. Highlights from the 2024 winning team’s experience on campus can be viewed here.

Curtin Spark Masterclass participants dialled in from across Bangkok.
