Congratulations to Associate Professor Thu Phuong Pham from the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance on being appointed to the Research Grant Assessment Committee of the Account and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ).

AFAANZ is an internationally respected organisation representing the interests of accounting and finance academics and other stakeholders, with a strong global connection to leading accounting and finance associations.

Associate Professor Pham now joins an appointed committee responsible for independently reviewing and ranking research proposals submitted by academic staff from AFAANZ institutional member universities. The Committee also plays a key role in allocating funding to qualified projects in accounting and finance professions, as well as ensuring the implementation of AFAANZ’s institutional policy.
