Centre for Enabling Pathways hosts Collaborative Teacher Forum
The Centre for Enabling Pathways recently hosted its annual Collaborative Teacher Forum, welcoming more than 140 high school educators from across Western Australia, including teachers from remote regional areas and metropolitan schools.
The forum provided professional development for educators who will deliver the UniReady for Schools program in 2025 at more than 85 high schools and Regional University Study Hubs. Designed to support students from underrepresented backgrounds or those without traditional pathways to higher education, UniReady in Schools is endorsed by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority and offers an alternative route to university.
The event featured speakers from various Curtin faculties and support services, offering valuable insights and updates for educators. It was a great opportunity to highlight the Centre’s strong relationships with secondary schools and showcase Curtin’s latest initiatives aimed at supporting future university students. Thank you to the Centre for Enabling Pathways team and all involved in the success of the forum.
