Professor Fraser Brims (Interim Associate Dean, Deputy Head of School-Medicine, Curtin Medical School) has been recognised for his long-standing commitment to improving lung health for Australians.

Honoured with a 2026 Lung Health Legend Award by Lung Foundation Australia, Professor Brims has made sustained and significant contributions to lung cancer policy, advocacy and patient care, and has demonstrated outstanding leadership in dust disease and lung cancer.

The award recipients represent some of the most influential contributors to respiratory health in Australia. Congratulations to Professor Brims on this incredible achievement!
