Curtin students and staff from the School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) recently participated in the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 11 to 22 November.

Associate Professor Atiq Zaman and Dr Alessandro Sanches Pereira represented the Curtin University Sustainability Policy Institute and the United Nations Council of Engineers for the Energy Transition (UN CEET), delivering the following reports in collaboration with UN CEET members:

Dr Vanessa Galvin (Architecture) and Associate Professor Zaman also supported students as they engaged with global climate debates and negotiations to help shape the future.
