Associate Professor Steve McKenna and Dr Luisa Campos from the School of Management and Marketing recently led a group of 23 Curtin students on the inaugural Global Scholars Program to Curtin Colombo in Sri Lanka.

The Global Scholars Program is designed to enable Perth-based students the opportunity to experience life, culture and work at an offshore Curtin campus.

From Sunday 22 June to Sunday 29 June, the tour saw students visit local organisations, take part in hands-on workshops and hear from engaging guest speakers.

Prior to the tour, Associate Professor McKenna and Dr Campos spent months working closely with the Curtin Colombo Team, headed by Professor Mahesha Kapurubandara, Pro Vice-Chancellor International, to create an immersive experience centred on the theme of social entrepreneurship.

Please join us in thanking and congratulating Associate Professor McKenna, Dr Campos, Professor Kapurubandara and the Curtin Colombo team on the success of the study tour.
