Curtin Sport and Recreation welcomed more than 2,000 students to Curtin Carnival on Friday 13 February, closing out Orientation Week with an afternoon packed with activity, fun and connection.

Curtin Stadium and Edinburgh Oval buzzed with activity, from sport clinics and games to live music, giveaways and plenty of opportunities to get involved. More than 15 Curtin sport clubs were part of the action, showcasing ways to stay active and engaged on campus.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Harlene Hayne presented the Curtin Gift awards to Alex (Faculty of Science and Engineering) and Deba (Faculty of Business and Law) after an exciting series of sprint heats and finals.

As a signature O-Week event, Curtin Carnival offered something for everyone, whether competing, participating or simply enjoying the atmosphere.

Thank you to Curtin Sport and Recreation, staff and volunteers who brought the event to life.
