Congratulations to the Curtin Enactus team who took out first place in the Early Stage projects category at the Enactus Australia National Championship 2024 in Melbourne this month.

The team of five students from the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) competed against four other Australian universities, presenting their program, SkillUp, designed help women in low SES or rural communities globally, to gain financial independence and security through access to skill development modules.

The students, Regina Ndossi (President), Nandini Joshi (Vice President), Tasmin Cilliers (General Committee Member), Harry Bidewell (General Committee Member) and Abbey Higgins (Treasurer), have been invited as a wild card to participate in the Main Competition and will be working hard to get as far as they can in the next round.

Thank you to FBL Student Experience staff, Jesse Emslie and Jane Cass, who continue to tirelessly support the team.
