Curtin recently welcomed a senior delegation from Bahria University, Pakistan, to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration. Discussions focused on potential partnerships in student exchange, research fellowships, short courses, summer school initiatives, joint research and staff exchange – all aimed at strengthening ties between the two institutions.

Led by Bahria University Rector Vice Admiral (R) Asif Khaliq HI (M), the delegation met with Professor Linley Lord, Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor Global, as well as representatives from Global Curtin and the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

The visit concluded with a tour of the Curtin HIVE, showcasing the University’s advanced 3D visualisation technology used in interdisciplinary research.
