Curtin recently welcomed 26 government officials from 18 African countries for the Australia Awards Africa short course on Financing Climate Action. Funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), the prestigious two-week program started in Perth and will conclude in Canberra.

The course provides participants with an enriching opportunity to engage with leading academics and policy experts, while also experiencing Australian society and culture. Thank you to Dr Muammer Wali and his team from the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance for leading the course with invaluable support from the Faculty of Business and Law’s Executive Education office, Global Curtin and international partners from the UK and Thailand.
