The Curtin node of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR) was awarded the Academic Research Team of the Year at the AusSpace24 Australian Space Awards for excellence in the emerging field of space.

The team was recognised for their work on satellite tracking at the Awards which were presented during the Australian Space Summit and Exhibition in Sydney this week.

Congratulations to John Curtin Distinguished Professor Steven Tingay; Dylan Grigg, PhD student; Dr Balthasar Indermühl, Principal Scientist at CSIRO Astronomy and Space; and the team for taking home this award.
