The Faculty of Business and Law (FBL) Senior Leadership Team recently travelled to Kalgoorlie for a two-day strategic planning workshop, engaging with colleagues at the Kalgoorlie campus and local community leaders.

The group reflected on 2025 achievements and identified key priorities for 2026, including advancing the faculty’s research portfolio, expanding global engagement and partnerships, and exploring innovative approaches to teaching and student mobility.

A highlight of the visit was a roundtable with local leaders from government, industry and the Goldfields community to discuss opportunities for collaboration and regional engagement. No visit to Kalgoorlie would be complete without a visit to the Super Pit, an excursion thoroughly enjoyed by all members!
