Delon Chai is Curtin Malaysia’s Associate Director of Learning and Teaching in the School of Pre-U and Continuing Education (SPACE), and he has just achieved an outstanding feat.

In an extraordinary run of recognition, Chai has been awarded three prestigious professional fellowships across a range of specialty areas within the span of a single year.

In recent months, Chai has been named as a Fellow of Advance HE, an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia and an Associate Fellow of Advance HE in Indigenous Knowledges.

Chai was also recently celebrated with two significant awards: the Award for Teaching Excellence for Global Staff at the 2024 Curtin Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and Curtin Malaysia’s 2024 Teaching Excellence Award.
