Curtin marked Disability Pride Month this July by raising the Disability Pride flag at The Forum during Semester Two Orientation Week in recognition of our diverse community of students and staff with disability.

First established in the United States to commemorate the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act in July 1990, Disability Pride Month has more recently been celebrated in Australia as an important opportunity to recognise disability identity, inclusion and awareness.
