Congratulations to Dr Bernardo Dewey and Carolyn Lewis from Curtin Medical School, who have both been awarded 2025 Churchill Fellowships. Their fellowships will give them the chance to learn from international experts, explore leading programs overseas and bring back fresh ideas that can make a real difference in our community.

Together, Dr Dewey and Ms Lewis will focus on Indigenous-specific models for culturally safe bereavement care, supporting Aboriginal families in Noongar Country who have experienced the loss of a baby.
