The Curtin School of Nursing has taken centre-stage in a full-page news feature in The Sunday Times, celebrating its remarkable 50-year milestone as the longest-running nursing school in the Australian university sector.

The article, titled “Curtin Nursing School celebrates 50-year history of blood, sweat, and overtime,” was published in the 18 August edition of the paper and provides a snapshot of  the School’s history, featuring personal stories from current staff, students and graduates who have been part of this extraordinary journey since 1974.

A special thank you to Associate Professor Janie Brown, alumna Nicole Tate, and her daughters Alexis, Grace and Paige, whose heartfelt stories and passion for nursing brought this feature to life. Thanks also to the Corporate Communications (Media) team for facilitating this wonderful coverage.
