Nimllash Thangam, a PhD student at Curtin’s Centre for Crop and Disease Management (CCDM), has been named a national finalist in the 2025 FameLab Australia competition.

FameLab celebrates young scientists from a diverse range of fields who communicate their research with clarity and passion. Nimllash will present his work on managing pathogens in lentil crops at the national final on 18 September at the WA Museum Boola Bardip. The winner will go on to represent Australia at the international FameLab final in November.
