Two Curtin programs were recognised at the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Reimagine Education Awards in Abu Dhabi this week. The Awards acknowledge trailblazers and visionaries who are transforming the educational landscape, enhancing learning outcomes and shaping the employability of future generations.

Dubbed the ‘Oscars’ in Education the 2023 Reimagine Education Awards were highly contested with more than 1200 submissions from around the world.

The Curtin Autism Research Group (CARG) and the Autism Academy for Software Quality Assurance (AASQA) took out the Gold Access, Diversity and Inclusion Award for Empowering Neurodiverse Adolescents. A video about the initiative can be viewed here.

Curtin’s Talk to Me Massive Open Online Course which focuses on improving mental health and suicide prevention in young adults, received the Silver Nurturing Wellbeing and Purpose Award. Watch their video about the student and peer mentor experience here.
