Curtin research recognised in Sustainable Development Goal profile
Congratulations to Associate Professor Thu Phuong Pham, from the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance, whose research has been featured in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific’s (UNESCAP) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17 Goal Profile for the Asia-Pacific region.
SDG 17, Partnership for the Goals, plays a crucial role in the success of the entire Sustainable Development Agenda by encouraging inclusive partnerships between governments, the private sector and civil society.
Associate Professor Pham’s work is the only academic research included in the SDG 17 Goal Profile, alongside publications from UN agencies and the International Monetary Fund. Her research, in collaboration with her team, directly informed policy recommendations in Priority Action 1 – Promote Climate Technology Solutions and Strengthen Climate Partnerships. These recommendations will contribute to discussions at the 2025 UN High-Level Political Forum in July.
