Curtin’s School of Education recently celebrated the graduation of 34 students from the Master of Arts (Applied Linguistics) program, delivered in partnership with the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation Regional Training Centre (SEAMEO RETRAC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The English-Vietnamese bilingual ceremony featured speeches by Guest of Honour, Rebecca Ball, Australian Deputy Consul General Commercial in Ho Chi Minh City and Le Thi Thuy Duong, SEAMEO RETRAC Director, followed by an address by Associate Professor Lisa Lim, Dean International, Humanities.

Since 2005, this program has supported Vietnamese professionals in language teaching, with a focus on teaching English as a Second Language. Congratulations to our graduates and thank you to Associate Professor Lim and to all involved in this valued partnership.
