Curtin staff and alumni recognised at WA Excellence in Allied Health Awards

Congratulations to the following Curtin staff and alumni who have been recognised in the inaugural WA Excellence in Allied Health Awards. The awards acknowledge the phenomenal work of allied health workers across the state who have made an outstanding contribution to their field.
- Allied Health Leader of the Year – Elizabeth Oliver from the Curtin School of Allied Health, Meath Care and Memory Box Collective.
- Lifetime Achievement Honour – Professor Angus Buchanan, Head of the School of Allied Health (accepted by Professor Courtenay Harris on his behalf).
- Allied Health Researcher of the Year – Adjunct Associate Professor Pamela Laird from the Curtin School of Population Health and Perth Children’s Hospital.
- Allied Health Assistant of the Year – Curtin graduate, Parvan Gill from Perth Children’s Hospital.
- Early Career Allied Health Professional of the Year – Curtin graduate, Paige Dhu from the Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group.
- Allied Health Professional of the Year:
- Primary/Community Care: Dr Dayna Pool from the School of Allied Health and the Healthy Strides Foundation.
- Mental Health: Curtin graduate, Jazmine Morris-Mccall from Fiona Stanley Hospital.
- Public Health: Curtin graduate, Kate Baumwol from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
