Curtin staff recognised for outstanding achievements in learning and teaching
The Curtin Excellence and Innovation in Teaching (CEIT) Awards took place on 20 October, celebrating 46 winners for their outstanding achievements in teaching and enhancing student learning at Curtin University. The event also welcomed two new Associate Fellows and four new Fellows into the Curtin Academy, recognising their role in advancing teaching excellence across the University, nationally and internationally. Faculty Teaching Award recipients were also acknowledged for their excellence and innovation in learning and teaching.
In addition, 57 staff, including 22 from Curtin’s global campuses, were recognised as Advance HE Associate Fellows, Fellows and Senior Fellows. See the list of new fellows here.

Curtin Academy Fellow inductees
Curtin Academy (CA) is a dynamic and honorary network of distinguished multi-disciplinary academic leaders dedicated to promoting and sharing teaching excellence at Curtin University. Curtin Academy aims to recognise, reward, enable, and extend teaching excellence across the university, nationally, and internationally.
Established in 2014 to enhance the quality of learning and teaching, CA provides independent guidance to all teaching staff at Curtin, informed by the Australian Learning and Teaching Council and the Australian University Teaching Criteria and Standard.
Academics apply for membership through a competitive process, with Fellowships awarded based on learning and teaching excellence and institutional leadership. CA comprises 27 Fellows, two Adjunct Fellows, four Associate Fellows, and 14 Alumni Fellows, guided by its Executive and supported by the industry-oriented Curtin Academy Advisory Board (CAAB).
