Curtin Swordfish Fencing Club wins gold
Congratulations to the Curtin Swordfish Fencing Club for clinching gold once again.
Lecturer Adrian Paxman from Curtin Medical School had an outstanding victory in the Veteran Men’s Épée event in Melbourne last weekend, hosted by the Australian Fencing Federation. This marks a back-to-back win, following his triumph at the last national competition hosted in Perth.
The Curtin Swordfish Fencing Club is a vibrant community that welcomes members of all ages and abilities, including current students, staff, alumni and local enthusiasts.
With beginner courses starting each semester on Thursday evenings at Curtin Stadium, it’s the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to try a new sport and start fencing.
