Congratulations to the Curtin Tax Clinic (CTC) team on being awarded a highly coveted People’s Choice Award at the inaugural Universities Australia Shaping Australia Awards at the Universities Australia Gala Dinner at Parliament House in Canberra on Tuesday night.

The CTC provides an essential service to disadvantaged and vulnerable community members helping people grappling with their taxation affairs due to their isolation and limited resources. It provides a platform for students to grow their confidence and employability while working under the supervision of experienced tax professionals.

The Clinic served as the driving force behind the inception of the National Tax Clinic program in Australia. Nationally, 17 clinics, supported by the Australian Government, now operate across the country.

Congratulations to CTC Director Annette Morgan, Clinic Supervisor Violet Lim and Clinic Assistants Ning Leelaswatanakul, Lora Whittington and Monique Eeson.
