The Faculty of Science and Engineering hosted a joint research colloquium with academics from Tohoku University, Japan, from 4 to 6 November across the Bentley and Perth City campuses.

The colloquium was a great success and featured research presentations, meetings and laboratory visits – with the visiting team eager to advance research collaborations with Curtin in the Engineering and Science disciplines.

Tohoku University is consistently ranked as Japan’s top university for research and is the sole recipient of prestigious funding from the Japanese Government to promote international research collaboration.
