Congratulations to Dr Xiaomin Xu, from the WA School of Mines: Minerals, Energy and Chemical Engineering, for being the recipient of the 2023 Curtin University Aspire Award.

Dr Xu’s research allows the conversion of electricity from renewable sources such as solar and wind into chemical energy stored in chemicals and fuels such as hydrogen and hydrocarbon. As part of receiving the Aspire Award, Dr Xu will be attending the 24th International Conference on Solid State Ionics (SSI-24) which will be held in July 2024 in London.
