Adjunct Professor Robert Guthrie from the John Curtin Institute of Public Policy has been recognised twice this month for his long-standing commitment to ensuring disadvantaged people have equal access to justice.

He received the Individual Award at the 2025 Attorney General’s Community Service Law Awards and was also named WA Lawyer of the Year 2025 at The Law Society of Western Australia’s Gala Awards, honouring more than 40 years of pro bono service, community advocacy and contributions to legal reform.
