Curtin’s Emergency Management team recently visited Kalgoorlie to deliver their annual training and emergency evacuation drills for the Incident Response Teams on campus and at Agricola student accommodation.

The training gave participants essential practical skills, from managing emergency situations to safely using fire extinguishers. The day wrapped up with mock evacuation exercises, allowing staff to put their training into action through realistic scenarios—ensuring they’re well-prepared for potential emergencies.

Thank you to the Emergency Management team for making this training such a great success.
