FameLab Australia 2024 finalists
Congratulations to the following members of the Curtin community who have been selected as FameLab Australia 2024 finalists:
- Johannes Debler, Research Assistant at the School of Molecular and Life Sciences and the Centre for Crop and Disease Management, for the project “Investigating the interactions between fungal diseases of lentil and chickpea with their host.”
- Bruno Hernandez, PhD student from the School of Education, for the project “Pushing the boundaries of collaboration in VR learning environments.”
FameLab is the world’s leading public-facing science communication competition and training program, created by Cheltenham Festivals (UK) and promotes excellence in science communication for early career STEM researchers in universities, government and industry. The FameLab Australia final will be held in September at the WA Museum Boola Bardip and the winner will represent Australia in the international final in November 2024.
