From K-Pop to Beatboxing: Talent 4 Tomorrow goes all out
Curtin’s annual Talent 4 Tomorrow Grand Final lit up the Atkinson Forum on Wednesday 6 August, with 17 diverse student acts performing to a packed audience in the event’s biggest show yet. From singers, musicians and dancers to comedy, beatboxing and even a magic act, the final celebrated the incredible range of Curtin’s student talent.
The University Choice Award went to beatboxer Susay (Sushant Chaudhary), with Ezinne Nwosu and her K-Pop dance group, West Side Crew, crowned runners-up. The People’s Choice Award was won by the Curtin Filipino Student Society for their traditional Filipino dance.
This student showcase also helps uncover acts for the grand finale performances at Curtin graduation ceremonies. In an exciting twist, Susay and West Side Crew will join forces to perform at the Bunuru Graduations in February 2026, while last year’s winners – student band Dreamliner – will feature at the Djilba Graduations next month.
A big thank you to University Events, Curtin Connect and the Digital Student Engagement teams for bringing the campus to life and creating this platform for our talented students.
