Curtin Volunteers! (CV!) has wrapped up another big year, clocking up 19 volunteer trips, travelling 6,782 kilometres and achieving an impressive 5.65-tonne carbon offset along the way.

A special shout out to the team who support and keep CV! moving: Krishan Shah (Curtin Community Programs and CV! Program Lead), Caitlin McLeod (Community Programs and Volunteering Coordinator), Norma Bertram (Student and Community Engagement Officer), Michelle Richard (Kalgoorlie Student Success Coordinator) and Wilmien Kok (Social Impact Hub Assistant and CV! Rounding out the year on a high note, CV! was also recognised with a 2025 Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Partnership this month, celebrating the team’s outstanding commitment to building and sustaining high-impact local and global partnerships that enhance student learning and deliver real-world impact.

Thank you to all CV! leaders, drivers, community partners and volunteers who made this year such a memorable and meaningful experience.
