Curtin’s Centre for Australia-Africa Relations was delighted to celebrate its African diaspora community partners at its end-of-year event.

Congratulations to the following partners who were presented Certificates of Recognition by Deputy Provost Professor Sarina Claassens for their impactful collaborations with the Centre this year:

  • African Professionals Australia (WA)
  • Kenyan Community in Western Australia
  • South African Community Kopano
  • Rwandan Community Abroad-Perth
  • Nuanced Community Development
  • The Australia Zambia Business Council
  • The Kenya Australia Chamber of Commerce

Centre Director Associate Professor David Mickler also recognised the valuable contributions made by Curtin academic staff Professor Farida Fozdar and Dr Isaac Frimpong, HDR students Ruvi Goredema and Nothando Ngwenya, and outgoing President of the Curtin African Students Association, Tawona Madangure.
