On Thursday 17 July, the School of Design and the Built Environment (DBE) hosted its first formal thank you event, bringing together industry partners, staff and students to celebrate the collaborative relationships that continue to shape and strengthen the DBE community.

Guests included long-standing collaborators as well as new and emerging partners, reflecting the widespread diversity of engagement across the built environment and design sectors. The event also encouraged meaningful conversations between DBE and industry on how they can continue to work together to support innovation, sustainability and excellence in education.

Thank you to all staff involved in the great success of this inaugural thank you event. It marked an important step in DBE’s efforts to strengthen its connections with industry and foster partnerships that inspire, mentor and empower the next generation of professionals.
