Congratulations to John Curtin Distinguished Professor David Treagust from the School of Education on the recent Virtual Festschrift featuring his research published in the Journal of Chemical Education.

The Festschrift was announced in an editorial titled ‘Celebrating the Vision and Generosity of a True Luminary in Chemistry Education Research: Introduction for the Virtual Festschrift for David F. Treagust’ by Professor Gwendolyn Lawrie from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences at The University of Queensland. The Journal honours key leaders in chemistry education by collecting their seminal works and subsequent articles that build on their important contributions into Virtual Festschrifts. John Curtin Distinguished Professor Treagust is the sixth chemistry educator honoured in a Festschrift in this way.
