Congratulations to John Curtin Distinguished Professor Marylène Gagnéfrom the Future of Work Institute and Associate Professor Guohua Jia from the School of Molecular and Life Sciences who have been newly appointed to the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts in 2025.

The ARC has inducted 123 new members into the College of Experts, each of whom will play a crucial role in assessing research proposals for funding under the National Competitive Grants Program.

As members of the ARC College of Experts, Professor Gagné and Associate Professor Jia will leverage their internationally recognised expertise to enhance the ARC and the broader research landscape in Australia. They will be instrumental in identifying research excellence, moderating external assessments of grant proposals and recommending projects for funding.
