On Saturday, 14 September, Curtin welcomed more than 4,000 visitors to our Bentley campus for the Kids on Campus event under the shade of the pines in Henderson Court.

The warm spring weather perfectly complemented the vibrant mix of family-friendly activities, food trucks and entertainment designed to spark curiosity and imagination. Children enjoyed hands-on nature play, encountered magical roaming entertainers, and marvelled at The Whale, a stunning 15-metre-long puppet installation designed by Leon Hendroff, in collaboration with Spare Parts Puppet Theatre and brought to life by Curtin Theatre Arts students.

A special thank you to the Properties, Facilities and Development team, in particular Lisa Spiers, Saskia Valenti, Lynsey Trench-Murphy, Greg Dunn, Tareen Winter, Bridget Head, Annika Naus, Adele Collings-Hughes and Nessya Santoso.

Thank you also to the many staff, students and volunteers who ensured a positive and engaging experience for everyone, from assisting with puppeteering to craft making and space activation. The event received glowing feedback from attendees.
