The 2025 Industry Mentoring Program officially launched on Tuesday 13 May at The Lantern on Curtin’s Bentley Campus, bringing together students and industry professionals for an engaging introduction to the program.

The event provided an opportunity for mentoring pairs to connect and begin building meaningful relationships. Salma Mohamed Yazid, Recruit Curtin Program Coordinator, outlined what participants could expect in the weeks ahead, while Marina from Mentorloop offered practical guidance on using the Mentorloop platform to support effective mentoring. Joelle Grimm, Student Development Consultant (Leadership), led a session on the SMARTer goal-setting framework, encouraging attendees to reflect on their own personal goals for the program.

Made possible through collaboration with Mentorloop and Curtin Leadership, the evening was marked by enthusiastic and purposeful conversations, reflecting a shared commitment to growth and learning.

Thank you and congratulations to Salma, Marina, Joelle and everyone involved in the successful launch of this year’s Industry Mentoring Program. We’re excited to see the connections and development that will unfold throughout the year between mentors and mentees.
