Congratulations to Associate Professor Gaby Haddow, from the School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry, for being awarded the HCL Anderson Award by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) at their recent National Conference in Adelaide.

The Award, which commemorates Henry Charles Lennox Anderson, is the highest honour that can be bestowed on an Associate Member of ALIA. Associate Professor Haddow was awarded for her exemplary dedication to teaching and mentorship and for her profound impact on research and collaboration within the discipline.

Also recognised at the Conference was Curtin PhD student Emilia Bell who received ALIA’s Metcalfe Award for 2024 for outstanding achievements in the first five years of their career journey.
