In September, Stanford University and Elsevier released their annual List of the World’s Top 2% Scientists.

It was remarkable to see 162 Curtin researchers included on the 2024 list, marking the highest number of Curtin academics to feature since its inception in 2019.

The ranking system is based on a normalised citation metric known as ‘c-score’, which evaluates the quality of a scientist’s research publications, regardless of their field.

Thanks to the Research Office at Curtin team, we have used this same methodology to determine the top ranked academics from Curtin, who are all named among the world’s top 7,000 scientists.
