The School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry (MCASI) continues to impress as Screen Arts academic and screenwriting tutor Zoe Pepper’s debut feature film, Birthright, had its WA premiere as part of the Perth Festival Somerville screenings last month.

The satirical dark-comedy feature follows newly evicted and unemployed Cory and his heavily pregnant wife Jasmine as they’re forced to stay with Cory’s parents Richard and Lyn, leading to absurd and ludicrous consequences.
