New AI initiative to support digital inclusion for neurodivergent Australians
A Curtin-led project to co-design safe, inclusive and ethical AI guidelines to empower neurodivergent Australians in their everyday digital lives has been awarded $50,000 by new community grant partner, auDA (.au Domain Administration).
The initiative, ‘AI for All? AI use and guidelines for neurodivergent individuals’, is led by Associate Professor Stuart Bender (School of Media, Creative Arts and Social Inquiry) in partnership with La Trobe University.
This funding recognises Curtin’s leadership in inclusive innovation and our commitment to ensuring emerging technologies create meaningful, equitable opportunities for all members of the community.
Congratulations to Associate Professor Bender and the team on this achievement. Read more about the project on the auDA website.
