NEWS FLASH: New dog research sets tails wagging
A big congratulations to Associate Professor Bill Bateman, whose research on man’s best friend became one of the most talked about stories recently.
Associate Professor Bateman, from the School of Molecular and Life Sciences, went above and beyond to ensure his research into the potentially ‘ruff’ implications of dogs on the environment achieved the impact and engagement of the wider population, including pet owners.
And his efforts paid off in a big way — with a wave of media appearances across TV, radio, print and online platforms. The story made headlines on national TV, including Channel Ten and ABC News, and reached international audiences through outlets in the US, India and on BBC Radio in the UK.
The Corporate Communications team would like to thank Bill for making himself available for media interviews at all times of the day to ensure his important research achieves the impact it deserves. Thank you and well done, Bill!
