Out of this world: Curtin finalists in Australian Space Awards
Curtin researchers have been named as finalists in the Australian Space Awards, celebrating the best of the best in our nation’s space sector.
Professor Katarina Miljkovic (School of Earth and Planetary Sciences) has been named a finalist in the Female Space Leader of the Year – Academia category while Curtin’s Space Science and Technology Centre (SSTC) has been recognised in the Academic Research Team of the Year field for the second year running.
The Australian Space Awards are the benchmark for excellence in the field of space, recognising the leading individuals and businesses driving the development of Australia’s space economy.
Congratulations to Professor Miljkovic and the SSTC team on this outstanding achievement and wishing them the best of luck for the awards, which will be held on Thursday 18 June.
