On Friday 26 September, Curtin Mauritius hosted Mrs Shirin Aumeeruddy-Cziffra, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Mauritius, and the Hon Milton Dick MP, Speaker of Australia’s House of Representatives.

Students and members of the Mauritius National Youth Parliament joined the visit, taking part in conversations about how respect, dialogue and service are at the heart of democracy. Both leaders highlighted the vital role young people play in shaping the future.
