Congratulations to PhD student Adele Pentland from the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences, who was recently announced as one of Australia’s newest Superstars of STEM by the Hon Ed Husic MP, Minister for Industry and Science.

Superstars of STEM is an initiative by Science & Technology Australia, open to women and non-binary people in Australian science and technology. The two-year program equips diverse STEM experts with advanced communication skills and opportunities, increasing the number of more diverse celebrity scientists appearing regularly in the Australian media to inspire the next generations of young Australians into STEM study and careers.

You can read about the program in the Science & Technology Australia media release and learn more about Ms Pentland’s work here.
