Port Moresby visit marks the start of Curtin’s new STEM program
Curtin’s Graduate Certificate in Education (STEM) has officially kicked off with a School of Education delegation meeting the first cohort of students on a recent visit to Port Moresby.
Professor Rekha Koul and Professor Rachel Sheffield, from the School of Education, led a pre-course workshop, introducing the 12-week course to 30 participants. They were supported online by Professor Darren Bryant, Craig Sims and Jane Sutherland.
The School of Education was last year chosen by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and Australia Awards PNG to deliver the Graduate Certificate in Education (STEM) program, in recognition of our expertise in STEM education.
This prestigious project marks a significant achievement for the School of Education, offering opportunities for future collaborations with DFAT and the Graduate Certificate in Education (STEM) to several international partners.
